With No Contact Apprehension making a buzz including but not limited to the changes imposed along affected cities, a tool to check if you’ve been tagged by this system is definitely ideal. It scares me personally as the community has been continuously raising questions to the integrity of the system applied but for now, we’ll just be observing.
2025 Update
Update: The MMDA has officially reinstated the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP), now enhanced with AI technology and an expanded CCTV network. With no grace period, the policy is in full effect, aiming to reduce face-to-face interactions and curb bribery. Manual reviews will ensure fairness, especially where road conditions may cause confusion. A mobile app and SMS alert system are also in development to improve the speed and transparency of violation notices. No Contact Apprehension has been in-effect again this 2025.
